Mirador Solutions Consultancy is a specialist financial services consultancy focused on servicing clients across the Technology, Data Management, Supplier Oversight and Outsourcing domains. Having spent the last 10 years working in senior management roles in the industry we understand not only the business but the regulatory and operational challenges faced by leadership as well. We believe our approach and proven track record of delivery, position us perfectly to help our clients succeed.

Mirador Solutions Consultancy understands that every client is different and that an off-the-shelf solution to the problem is almost never the answer. Our philosophy places understanding the client; their objectives, their company culture and their business strategy at the centre of all of our practices. We believe that by taking a 360° view of the client at the outset of any engagement we can ensure that we tailor all of our deliverables and outcomes to their specific needs. Chairman

David King is non Executive Chairman of Mirador Solutions Group.

David is an entrepreneur and business consultant with 30+ years operating within the financial services sector in EMEA, APAC and the USA. He has founded a number of start ups with exit to trade sale and MBO. In addition, he has advised many SME suppliers to the financial services industry in terms of their corporate, product, services and sales & marketing strategies.

Gareth Cocks

CEO

Gareth Cocks is CEO of Mirador Solutions and is an experienced Technology, Change Management and Operational business leader. Gareth has spent the last 20 years working for investment organisations on developing and implementing their technology, data and operations strategies and operating models. In that time Gareth has also successfully executed both small and large programmes of change across all areas of investment management businesses.

Gareth started his career in management consultancy where he worked for several leading investment management organisations on their front office system strategy and operating model design. Gareth was responsible for a number of major transformational programmes of change for both investment and wealth management institutions.

Having left management consulting, Gareth moved into a senior leadership role in industry where he has held both operational and change based roles. Gareth has led the development of Technology and Change Management business functions and he has also had responsibility for governing Supplier Management where he developed strong relationships with key outsource partners.

In his Technology roles Gareth has been accountable for designing technology infrastructure and application landscapes and overseeing the successful implementation of these into the business. Gareth is comfortable leading Technology change and has run major technology transformational projects. Gareth is also an experienced business change practitioner and has established Change Management practises in organisations including instituting delivery methodologies, PMO processes and reporting frameworks. Gareth has successfully overseen the delivery of numerous large transformative business changes.

Gareth prides himself on his operational leadership and takes pleasure from having built high performing teams whilst working in industry, this is demonstrable through his track record of delivery. Gareth also understands the value of working closely with suppliers and outsourcers to build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Gareth is the type of individual who is constantly looking for improvement both personally and for the organisation he is working with. Gareth believes that delivering for a business is about setting the highest standards and goals for himself and those working with him. He is an experienced leader and motivator with a wealth of knowledge working with C-suite and board level stakeholders helping them to deliver their organisations objectives.
