CEO

Gareth Cocks, CEO of Mirador Solutions Consultancy, is a seasoned leader in Technology, Operations and Change Management. With over two decades of experience, he has dedicated his career to shaping and implementing technology, data, and operational strategies for investment and wealth organisations.

He has successfully executed transformative programs across various aspects of the operating model. Gareth founded Mirador Solutions Consultancy to be a trusted and strategic partner for Wealth and Investment firms. He is known for his operational leadership, team building, and commitment to continuous improvement.

He sets high standards for himself and his teams, collaborating closely with C-suite and board-level stakeholders to deliver organisational goals. Embracing thought leadership and discussing industry trends; he is a firm believer in giving practitioners a voice to foster and promote mutual learning within the industry, embedding this as a founding principle of his own consultancy business.

He is also a vocal member of the investment and wealth management community, often attending or hosting round table discussions and industry events.

George Watson

Managing Director

George Watson is an experienced leader known for his expertise in data management and technology infrastructure solutions. With a career spanning Management Consultancy, Asset Owners and Wealth Management, he has played a pivotal role in driving successful technology innovation and transformation.

His experience brings significant expertise in navigating the complexities, and challenges, of Investment, Order Execution and infrastructure. With a practical understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry trends, he has consistently delivered tailored solutions that optimise operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and drive sustainable growth for businesses.

In his role as Head of Technology & Change for a UK Asset Owner/Manager he gained invaluable insight of the unique challenges facing the financial services industry. Leveraging his deep technical knowledge and strategic acumen, he has spearheaded initiatives to modernise legacy systems, implement innovative digital solutions, and build cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard sensitive financial data.

As Managing Director of Mirador Solutions Consultancy, George leads a dynamic team of technology experts dedicated to delivering transformative solutions that address the evolving demands of financial institutions, and the clients’ bespoke needs. His collaborative approach, coupled with a passion for excellence, fosters a culture of innovation and client-centricity, ensuring that every solution is meticulously tailored to meet the specific objectives and regulatory requirements of each client.

Steve Keevil

Consultancy Delivery Director

With over 13 years of industry experience, Steve Keevil is a seasoned practitioner and expert in driving strategic initiatives and delivering value-added solutions for clients.

Having seen his career navigate through Asset Owners, Investment and Wealth Management, Steve has a wealth of experience across the back, middle and front office having delivered large scale complex transformations. Steve started his career in Investment Operations, covering all aspects of private client activity; from trade support and settlement to reporting.

His Operations experience developed further by taking on responsibility for CASS oversight, defining the CASS framework and having ultimate responsibility for CMAR reporting.

This deep knowledge of Investment Operations led Steve to take on a host of projects that were born out of an M&A, where he was accountable for large scale transformations to bring together business operations, transition custody arrangements and onboard clients to the target OMS and PMS respectively.

In his previous role of Change Delivery Manager, Steve held overall responsibility for the budget, development and delivery of the firm’s Change portfolio and the in-house practitioners. Steve was accountable for a wide range of initiatives from design to implementation, spanning technology infrastructure, OMS/ PMS deployment, regulatory initiatives, trading venues and outsourcing partnership development.

As the Consultancy Delivery Director of Mirador Solutions Consultancy, he oversees all aspects of client engagements and ensures success of client deliverables.
